Drive north to Anuradhapura. Visit Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, ancient monastic ruins and reservoir landscapes. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Sigiriya
Confirmed morning visit to Mihintale, one of Sri Lanka’s most spiritually significant Buddhist heritage sites. Continue to Sigiriya. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya - Rock Climb and Village
Sunrise Sigiriya Rock climb with guided storytelling. Afternoon catamaran lake ride, paddy-field walk, spice grinding and traditional cooking. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Kandy
Explore Polonnaruwa Ancient City by bicycle, tuk tuk or private vehicle. Depart Polonnaruwa by noon and drive to Kandy, with no heavy afternoon activity. Overnight in Kandy.

Kandy - Culture, Gardens and Craft
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and a craft, gem, batik, spice or market experience. Overnight in Kandy.

Kandy to Knuckles
Drive to the Knuckles Mountain Range. The final access roads can be narrow, so suitable vehicle planning is recommended. Afternoon forest-edge walk. Overnight in Knuckles.

Knuckles to Nuwara Eliya
Morning soft trek, birdwatching or a waterfall walk, with departure kept to around 9.30am. Afternoon tea estate visit in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Horton Plains to Ella - Scenic Train
Early Horton Plains World’s End trail. Return toward Nanu Oya and board the afternoon train to Ella with reserved seats where possible. Overnight in Ella.

Ella - Highland Adventure Day
Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge with the crossing time confirmed locally, and optional Ravana Falls, Ella Rock, zipline or a cooking class. Overnight in Ella.

Ella to Yala
Drive to Yala with a Ravana Falls or village viewpoint stop. Arrive by around 2.30pm for an afternoon safari. Overnight near Yala.

Yala to Tangalle
Optional dawn safari, subject to park status. Continue to Tangalle for beach rest, an Ayurveda massage, lagoon kayaking or a slow coast walk. Overnight in Tangalle.

Tangalle to Galle
Morning slow beach time or Mulkirigala Rock Temple. Continue to Galle Fort for the lighthouse, ramparts, galleries, cafes and a sunset dinner. Overnight in Galle.

Galle to Bentota
Morning at leisure inside Galle Fort. Continue to Bentota for a confirmed Madu River mangrove boat safari, a turtle conservation option or resort time. Overnight in Bentota.

Bentota to Colombo - Departure
Final beach morning or a Colombo shopping stop before the private airport transfer. Departure.
