Arrival - Negombo

Negombo to Anuradhapura
Drive north into Sri Lanka’s first ancient capital. Afternoon guided visit to Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya and selected monastic ruins. Sunset near an ancient reservoir. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura to Wilpattu
Morning deeper heritage route with Abhayagiri Monastery or Isurumuniya Rock Temple. Transfer toward Wilpattu and settle into a safari lodge or tented camp. Overnight near Wilpattu.

Wilpattu - Full Safari Day
Dawn jeep safari through villu lakes and dry forest in search of leopards, elephants, sloth bears, deer and waterbirds. Afternoon second safari or lodge rest. Overnight near Wilpattu.

Wilpattu to Sigiriya
Optional short morning safari or relaxed lodge breakfast. Continue to Sigiriya for a boutique nature-resort stay. Evening Ayurveda massage or lakeside sunset. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa
Sunrise climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon Polonnaruwa Ancient City visit with Gal Vihara, Vatadage, palace ruins and reservoir landscapes. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya to Kandy via Dambulla
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple en route, then continue through Matale spice corridor to Kandy. Evening visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Overnight in Kandy.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens before driving into tea highlands through waterfalls and estate landscapes. Tea factory visit and tasting. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Horton Plains and Colonial Highlands
Early morning Horton Plains and World’s End trail, weather permitting. Afternoon Gregory Lake, colonial town streets, fireplace tea or quiet hotel rest. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya to Galle
Long but scenic drive from the highlands to the south coast with comfort stops and lunch arranged en route. Arrive in Galle Fort by late afternoon for a rampart walk. Overnight in Galle.

Galle Fort and Southern Heritage
Guided architecture and heritage walk through Galle Fort. Afternoon optional Japanese Peace Pagoda, Kosgoda Lake, the turtle conservation centre or a coastal cafe stop. Overnight in Galle.

Galle to Bentota
Relaxed drive to Bentota. Madu River mangrove safari, a Brief Garden visit or resort beach time depending on interest. Overnight in Bentota.

Bentota to Colombo - Departure
Final beach morning or a Colombo shopping stop. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
